Trip to Xi An, China

Finally the 8days6nights trip is over. Alright, I sounded relieved because the trip wasn't as good as what I've expected. It's summer in China now. Imagine the heat. Everyday I sweat like don't know what and walked don't know how many million miles. Didn't lose any weight because everyday makan, sit bus, makan again.

Anyways, I'm glad that I finally made it to the site of the Terra-Cota army. Apparently, there is nothing else there except for thousands of soldiers made of clay/mud/stone, I don't know. Kind of boring but it's worth seeing. Who knows when,  these armies are no longer available or what, at least I have seen them.

According to the local tour guide, these soldiers you're seeing in the picture are the ones that have been repaired. When they were first excavated, they were all broken pieces, all mixed up. You won't know which is head and which is the limb. The professionals took few years to complete one soldier. Another interesting fact about the terra-cotta warriors is that each of them is unique. Which means they have their own face, own hairstyle, height etc etc. The sculpture is so detailed that you can even see finger prints. zzz.

During this trip, met people with different different kinds of pattern. Annoying one, lansi one, nice one, cool one. Especially the tour manager from Malaysia. He WAS a humorous man and his jokes WERE funny. After some time, I don't find it funny anymore because he keep repeating the joke over and over again. Always telling stories how much experiences he had gained while working as a tour manager. Maybe old man got banyak pattern lor. Seriously cannot tahan his ego-ness. The most epic part was when he argued with the air-stewardess, bla bla bla shit. Old man, what can we say. He deserves respect anyhow.

Time flies. My two months semester break is coming to an end. Having mixed emotions now. Happy, sad, excited. One year down, four more to go. God, please give me the strength to complete my course, fast forward time so that I can come home as soon as possible.

                                                                  xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Are you something or nothing?
Deep in my heart, I hope you're meant to be part of life.
But at the same time, I have to be conscious.
This is no fairytale.
Back to reality.
Study hard.
Work hard.
Play hard.
Have fun.
Semester 3 will be better than semester 2.
Flying colours results. AMITHABA.
